Caffe-Tasse ("coffee cup") began in 1989 at a cafe in Brussels, Belgium when a man felt an urge for a small bite of chocolate to go with his espresso. The first chocolates they made were the small squares known as "Neopolitans" in plain brown paper wrappers. The company has expanded their range from this humble beginnings to include adventurous flavors and taste combinations while remaining true to the fine traditions of European chocolatiers.
